The Soccer Fund (TSF) was founded in 2018 by Gary and Carine Ireland to enable them to pursue their lifelong passion of translating the best practices and lessons of soccer and play into everyday lives including growing the women's game and using soccer as a vehicle for social good.

TSF enables coaches to donate their time and expertise through the volunteer coaching of young players, coach education and mentoring improving academic performance and female advocacy and helping improving lives by building confidence and improving health soccer. Donating to TSF allows the promotion of healthy physical, social and emotional development of youth and building safer and stronger communities through collaboration with local and regional organizations to strengthen their own programs through providing youth and families educational informational events, coach education events, health education as well as connecting organizations with our global network of soccer experts, sponsors, donors and supporters aligned with similar goals and interests.

The Soccer Fund Tax ID #82-4089217 is a California Nonprofit Corporation with IRS 501(c)3 status

Donations to TSF are tax deductible under IRC Section 170. To comply with IRS requirements regarding charitable donations, TSF affirms that no goods or services have been provided to donors, in whole or in part, in consideration for contributions. TSF is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers and gifts under section 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the code. Donors will receive a tax receipt for contributions. Anson is a pioneer of women's soccer and one of the most influential figures in the history of global women's soccer and the most successful coach in NCAA sports history. He's one of the founders of NCAA Women's Soccer, 22x NCAA National Champion of USA with North Carolina Women's Soccer, USA Women's National Team Coach (1986-1994), 1991 FIFA World Cup Champion and 7x National Coach of Year
